Future Presidents of America

The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies is proud to offer the Future Presidents of America youth leadership camp, a weeklong leadership and civics program for students ages 13-16. Using the Gerald R. Ford presidency as a lens, the camp builds confidence, civic knowledge, and character by exploring what makes ethical, effective presidents and leaders.

Eligibility to apply is currently open to only students enrolled at a group of partner schools: Byron Center Schools, East Grand Rapids Schools, Grand Rapids Public Schools, East Kentwood Schools, and Black River Public School. The inaugural cohort will accommodate 20 students, 4 from each school district.
